Guest guest
Hi , I am in the process of trying to get Kristan off of Ketocal and eating more solid foods. It's a struggle, but we are almost at two solid meals a day now. She gets four meals a day. Kristan is 18 months and right now she is mainly eating foods that can be blended smoothly as she is still learning to eat. Right now I am working with cottage cheese and margarine and MCT oil; tofu, whipping cream, margarine and MCT oil; and a very tasty jello mold recipe. Kristan won't take lumpy mushy food right now. I tried avocado with margarine and cheddar cheese but she didn't like the texture, so wouldn't eat it. She's a messy little eater. How is Stockton doing and how old is he? What kind of meals does he eat. Satnam, mom to Kristan, 18 months Keto kid since August 2003 > Hey everyone! > > Some of you know me already. Guest guest
Kristan, Sorry I have taken so long to respond to your message. We have been out of town, and then our internet service was down. Thanks for your reply! Stockton is 27 months old. He has Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome and has been on the diet since August of last year. He is almost off of all his meds and the seizures are under more control than they ever were on any other med. We still have seizures every day, and Stockton is developmentally delayed. But, we are seeing improvement and that's encouraging. I can totally relate to your issues and struggles with converting to solids. We went through the same thing. Stockton is still a very picky eater. This diet is lots of work, but worth every minute! > > Hey everyone! > > > > Some of you know me already.
