Some cloths do have latex in it. If you think of the name then we can find

contact info for the company though and call to see if it contains latex.

no latex cover

There is something made of an absorbent cloth that covers hearing aids and

cochlear implant ear level processors...but I can't locate it right now. It's

cloth and absorbs moisture. Is especially for play ing sports. Have you looked

at this? It MIGHT have latex in it, but it is made ofcloth...anyone know what

I'm meaning? (I'll probably remember the name when I sign off!)

I think what you are talking about is the Hearing Aid Sweatband. It

was invented by a hearing aid user. There is info at

www.vanbenterprises.com It is supposedly great at repelling water

and for cutting down on wind noise. I have ordered some but have

not tried them on my son's BTE implant processor yet. Cochlear

recommends them.

Here's from VanB Enterprises' FAQ page about what they are made of:

Q: What are they made of?

A: A soft and supple woven material that is hydrophobic,

possessing special attributes for both the shedding of moisture,

holding of moisture, and also evaporation of moisture.

Q: Will the Sweat Bands irritate my skin?

A: No. They are hypoallergenic; there are no known cases of any ill

effects from wearing Sweat Bands.
