Reflux and poor swallowing.

I wonder if anyone has experienced what I seem to be going through of late.

I was diagnosed with Afib about 12 months ago and have it 24/7. I had a

cardioversion which failed and am now on Digoxin and aspirin and everything

seems to be quite under control. The only real changes have been a slight

loss of energy and occasional sweating over and above what is normal for me.

However, over recent weeks I have had a little difficulty swallowing my food

successfully. I have suffered occasional reflux since I was a teenager (I am

now 60), but this is not regular reflux. A small amount of food seems to

remain caught in the back of my throat and I can feel it sitting there for

hours on end. Of course, it may have nothing to do with Afib, but before I

approach my doctor, I thought I'd check to see if anyone else has

experienced a similar thing.

Thanks for any help,

Bill
