Guest guest
Hi Amy and welcome How is he doing now, has the gagging/legarthy etc eased off a bit? Did he actually start the diet with any meds on board, or did you wean both the pheno and tegretol? Hope things are starting to settle down a bit, look forward to hearing how he progresses, Hill in NZ PS - I also have a premie, but she is not my keto-kid, we were very fortunate that she did not have any complications from her early birth (, born11 weeks early - now 10 yrs old). Oh, I also have a Jake too (actually a but most call him Jake, 4 yrs old), but he isn't my keto-kiddie either..., my 7 yr old has that claim to fame, been on the diet since Sep 01. ----- Original Message ----- > Hi! > My name is Amy and my 20 month old son, Jake, started the keto diet > this week! Guest guest
- Thanks for your message! The gagging and nausea have gone away and the lethargy is much better. He was very active the last two days, so we are happy about that. We weaned pheno and tegretol before starting the diet. Jake is still on 250 mg of Keppra two times a day. Looking forward to keeping you updated on Jake's progress. I'm so glad to hear that your preemie is doing so well!!
