J,

Thank you for the fantastic news on Vinnie's successful repo!!! I

know reading about his success will help motivate and encourage some

current repo'ers out there.

I'm so pleased for you that he was able to get wonderful results,

and am looking so forward to seeing some before and after pics when

you have time. Would you consider posting them in the photos/Before

and After/Repositioned folder? Let us know when you get some photos

of Vinnie uploaded.

Take care,

Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy)

What a nice update on Vinnie, I am so happy for you. I think the crew

cut tells us all how good he looks. Congratulations! If you don't

mind me asking at what age did you decide he no longer needed to be

repoed. We were just talking about this the other night because we

have some really young repo babies on here now, isn't that great. The

word is getting out slowly.

Carol,

It's funny how nervous I was about him getting that haircut!

We haven't really stopped repoing, though since he is old enough to

sit up all the time (8mos now), we obviously don't have to worry

about it as much. We still alternate his head at night by placing

him at opposite ends of the crib. He was " trained " from months of

using a sleep positioner to keep his head pretty much to one side or

the other. This made it easy when we stopped using it to keep up the

night repo. We're lucky he's not a squirmy sleeper. We still use the

noggin nest in his stroller/car seat, so whenever he is on his back

he's still getting the cushioning. Other than that he's off his back

sitting or trying to learn crawling anyway. Also at this age we felt

from our research that since correction of plagio dips after a

certain age (6mos seems to be the age most referred to), it would

make sense that the reverse would also be true. That isn't too

scientific, and might be totally off base, but so far so good!

We actually did not start repo until about 4 1/2 months. Vinnie had

both plagio and brachy. The plagio was the most dramatic

improvement, though we feel the brachy has improved as well. Since

the plagio was the most " noticeable " due to the assymmetry, that was

our top concern. The brachy kind of improved due to all the repo

work we did to combat the plagio.

We have Vinnie's starter pics and one update in his folder. I just

took some new photos the other night. I just need to find the cord

in my mess of stuff to upload them :)

of age or there abouts? Was Vinnie brachy and plagio? Did the

brachy pop out too? I would love to see update pics. Please add

some before and afters to the repo folder.

Thanks for sharing your info with me. You are doing such a great job

as a mommy. We were thinking along the same lines so you're not too

far out there, unless we all are, lol.
