Guest guest
Hello Jace: Welcome to the group....My feeling about what you describe is indigestion that affects your whole body including your with heart. Do you notice it when you have eaten a heavy mealwith MSG or slow cooked meats which usually form glutamate after long cooking or something salty. My sister can eat steak without any problems but when she eats stew she feels sick. Try to eat more vegetables, romaine lettuce and fruits than protein that might help. If you diet is basically acid that could be the cause of the problem. Acid ash foods are usually complete proteins like your meats, dairy (but yogurt produces an alkaline ash),fish, eggs etc. In the meantime I hope that rumbling in your chest/stomach goes away. I probably didn't answer your questions but I thought I would give it a try. What meds are you taking and what dose besides the 160mg of aspirin? All the best to you from the USA. Isabelle. I think you should call or see your doctor and ask about it, to find out what it is and if something needs to be/can be done about it. In the US, the aspirin dose for afib is a full tablet, about 300something mg. I don't know what strength aspirin comes in in Australia. Google says Sotacor is a beta blocker. There are 2.2 kg per pound, so 124 kg is 272 pounds.

Guest guest
> Jace, now that Isabel has mentioned it, I am wondering is this could be severe heartburn/acid reflux/gerd. That can make afib worse. There are ways to control that, but I also think you should get this situation looked at by your doc. In the meantime, just in case, you can lessen heartburn/acid reflux/gerd by not lying down flat, rather with your upper body inlined upwards, avoiding very spicy things, onions, etc. Try liquid Maalox. The doc can prescribe more effective things like Prevacid, if this is the problem.
