Guest guest
Hi Nicola and Bill Francesca is also low in zinc. GOSH have increased her Forceval capsules to 2 per day and Liz said this would sort it (the only reason they didn't give 2 per day in the first place was because they feel it's too high in Vitamin A - d'oh thanks for noticing that Francesca's low in Vitamin A anyway!) However, I'm not convinced it's enough and am supplementing zinc on top. Bill, Francesca's hair had stopped growing, not thinning or losing anyway, but just not growing - do you think zinc is a factor? Can you over-do the zinc? Does anyone know the implications of being low in Vitamin A? Thanks , mum to Francesca, Keto Kid since Sept 03 > > s bloods have come back as low in zinc, whats the significance of > > this? > > Nicola
Guest guest
, I don't think that you can overdo the zinc. It may need something else to be properly absorbed. It may need to be taken with or without other things being present. Hair growth might be due to protein being a bit low. Not sure about it. I haven't researched it at all. Maybe if you are taking mineral oil or milk of magnesia or something else for constipation, it interferes with the absorbtion of the zinc?
