When IM in Aflutter my heart is racing and I get a very agitated feeling. I

don't get flutters only a steady fast pulse and it almost puts me into a panic

attack but I do breathing and get up and walk around now that I know what it

is to keep from going into a panic attack. When IM in afib I get the

flutters, flip flop and I can't walk without getting dizzy and losing my breath.

I do

get many PVC's now and then and have had them two or three then maybe an hour

later a few more. When I get them like that I go lie down and relax and more

or less call it a night.

a in Massachusetts 50 NSR Sotalol 80 mg Warfarin 5mg

Does anyone know the difference between a flutter and a PVC or PAC?

Is it a bunch of those together? Also is having a couple of flutters

every couple of mintues considered AFIB. I am so tired becuase it

seems like every evening I get rows of flutters. I have had 3 groups

of them in a matter of a 1/2 an hour. I laid down on my tummy and I

can feel the gas in my stomach. Do you think if I were on meds these

would go away. I have had enough of this!!!!!!!

Thanks!

Hi, Michele,

They would really have to catch these on a monitor to tell for sure,

but, although sitting around feeling your pulse is a good way to go

nuts, you might want to try that for 15 minutes or so just to see

what is going on.

Since it is driving you nuts, I would certainly suggest you talk to

your doc about meds. Excuse me for not remembering what you are

taking now. Have you given magnesium a try?

Have you given magnesium a try?

I am going to go get myself some SlowMag and try that. I called my Dr

today because I was having so many skipped beats and flutters last

night. He is away till the end of the month. Another Dr took a look

at my records and told the nurse he did not see anything to be a big

concern. Of course he only mentioned PVCs. I pointed out to her that

I had also had a short bout of Atrial Fib. They suggested I wait till

my Doc gets back to put me on anything. ::sigh::
