Guest guest Posted July 4, 2001 Report Share Posted July 4, 2001 We told dp's family since they are practically all here for the 4th and I told my parents a couple days ago too. My mom was hugging me before I could even finish my sentence. Then I told my dad (they are still married, you just usually can't find both of them in the same place at once...dad's always outside and mom's always inside)..anyway..he just smiled sooo big and couldn't wipe it off his face and then he gave me a hug and said he knew this one was going to turn out better then the last one. Now that may not sound like a big deal, but for my dad it is. I know he loves me, but he isn't a lovey, touchy, feely kind of guy...so it meant a lot coming from him. I talked to my sister last night and she said my mom must have called her as soon as I left their house. And she told me that my mom has called EVERYONE and told them.
