I paid her, and then submited the bill to my insurance for reimbursement, along with a letter from doctor saying he thought that it was medically necessary for him to see the nutritionist, and they denied it. I still felt it was helpful, even though we stopped following the plan strictly, I still incorporated all the healthy ways of cooking and eating into our lifestyle.
