Joe, can anything (radiation, excision) be done about your peri-

rectal recurrence if it begins to bother you? I'm thinking similar

thoughts about my upper body sites--under jaw, ribs, on splenic

artery. I don't want to be carved up, but if something minimally

invasive could be done if and when something troublea me, I'd

consider it.

I'll let you know sometime in the near future. I'm going to see my

oncologist on Tuesday, and I'm going to ask him to refer me to the

stereotactic radiosurgery place in Rochester, about 3 hours from

here, to get evaluated for exactly that. Am going to shoot to get

there in a month or so - we just bought a house and I want to

concentrate on moving. When I go, I will ask specifically about if

such can be done in other places.
