Hmm - the exact opposite of what I was told.

No contact at all with the 'oval', except for the free flowing drop of

blood, no squeezing of the finger. They were the first questions our

Medisense rep asked me, was I doing either of those 2 things, when I said I

thought their machine was a bit of a lemon.

I have this machine too and I do squeeze the finger before I add any blood, but

dont afterwards, have to get a good drop the first try or the result is off and

the blood has to drop onto the 'oval' it cant be touched on there. Tricky

machine.
