Patty is doing so much better. She goes to Easter Seals for training on computers. She's done Microsoft word, works, and PowerPoint. Then they'll find her a job. I thought since she'd been home for so long she would only be able to handle a few days a week. She's been going five days a week and still could do more! Yet again there were people who have said she couldn't and wouldn't be able to do something like this and yet again- " I told you so! " Easter Seals doesn't know CHARGE but they have researched and have been absolutely wonderful. They make things good and they make things work. LOVE IT! Now for a place to live, community access and integration, socialization, independent living, ... I don't like these baby steps! Sometimes we have to stand up and make things work.
