Guest guest Posted July 23, 2004 Report Share Posted July 23, 2004 Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew of a foundation or organization that helps fund new schools. I am not completely giving up on our local school district, but I am also realizing the options we want are not available to us. I am considering putting together an oral program that will meet the needs of our kids in Northern land. I will not travel an hour and a half (one way) to our " local " school for the deaf and there really are no options within a reasonable distance. I am in the beginning stages of establishing a non-profit organization and want to start a classroom with appropriate staff, but as you all know this takes a significant amount of money.
