Hello everyone - update on my doc appt.

I saw my doc yesterday. She suprises me every time I see

her. Just when I think she will act like other docs I've seen, she

does it again....I thought she would want to lower my Armour because

of my high FT3 level and she didn't. She said " Why not stay at what

you at for awhile until we find out if there are other things going

on " . She actually said she was not even going to look at the latest

labs. She asked me what I thought and I told her I thought my FT4

should be up a little more and she said " Why, let's go by how you

feel " . I mentioned to her a couple of times previous about adrenal

issues (my T3 is high) and she referred me to a either an Endo or

Naturopath.

I told her I would not see an Endo again and the natural docs want

$250.00 a visit and don't take insurance. Again, I mentioned that I

could have adrenal fatigue and she said, " You know if you mentioned

adrenal to any other doctor... " and I told her " Yes, I know, they

would think I'm wacked " . She is young and really specializes in

Obstetrics and Family Practice. She even said she has a broad range

of training. She is very willing to learn and help. She got out a

brochure from Great Smokies Diagnostic Lab and we looked it over and

she called them to find out how it all works, then she ordered me a

panel of tests. She said that when the test results came back she'd

have to figure out what to do with the information and how to act on

it. So, for now, I am staying at the same doseage of meds and we

will see what else is going on after I do the saliva tests. I thank

God that I found her.
