I really don't much discomfort when getting my mammo. Actually its very minimal. Of course everyone is different. Try not to stress too much over it. Maybe take a couple of Tylenol or Advil before hand. Please feel free to ask question, vent etc. We are all here for each other. We would love to have your Mom join us if she would like. I will keep you both in my prayers.
