Guest guest Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Hi everyone, Ok, I graduated from chemo a week ago last Tuesday, (4 rounds A/C, 1 round Taxol, and 3 rounds Taxotere). Had a mammogram this morning. My " lump " (ha,ha) that was 5 1/2 cm in June is now..... (drumroll)............................................................. ........................................................................ 7 mm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I see my surgeon this afternoon to talk details on surgery. Everyone is just exstatic on how effective the chemo has been. Good thing he injected the metallic clip in Nov. He thought is might get so small it would be hard to find once he goes in. Surgery will be after I get back from Disney World with my granddaughter. Followed by radiation. Just wanted to share some good affects of chemo. Guess I can say the side affects for me were worth it. Have a good day everyone. Ingrid in Indy Quote

Guest guest Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Congratulations to Indy!! At first I thought it grew because you I thought you wrote 7 cm instead of 7 mm which is small. Good and it's over-something to celebrate about.
