Yes, do call the medical center and please tell them how sick you are and that you need to be placed on there cancellation list. People cancel all the time so you might get in sooner. Be prepared to hop in your car and take off just in case they call you for an appt the same day. How old are your boys? The not knowing what it is you have takes a tole on not only you but everyone in your family. How can you understand something that hasn't been diagnosed yet? It's tough! I think the best thing to do right now is be straight with them and let them know what your going through in trying to find a doctor who will see you. Kids bounce back better than we parents think they can but they also understand things better too. Just give more hugs, kisses and bed time stories (unless there teens, then you can forget the bed time stores...) and do what you can for right now. They'll understand.
