Guest guest
Just wanted to share something I recently learned: You can ask your district for a copy of next year's textbook and/or curriculum outlines for the year to be given to you by the end of this year. That way your child can get a headstart on topics and vocabulary this summer. I'm planning to use these with my private SLP over the summer. a * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * a Rosenthal e: info@... In fact, we didn't even bring it up as an IEP issue. We simply asked the principal and they loaned us the books over the summer. We had to return the books in the fall because they were from one of the classroom sets, but it was great to have them. mostly what we went over were broad concepts and new vocabulary.
