Hi Colleen, we used to do a similar thing with the picture book but we did it

after the activity. Every night at bedtime, our daughter would draw a picture

of something that she did that day and she'd tell me what to write. (she was 4

and 5 when we did this). It was so interesting to see how she perceived things.

And it was great fun to go over it later and remember things. Your " pre " idea

would have been great for my non- hearing impaired child who was afraid of

EVERYTHING! in GA
