Got the soundfield finally

HI all,

I wanted to share with you that we finally were able to buy that soundfield

system we have been looking at getting. We have wanted an FM for so so long but

in no way can afford one of those and insurance won't pay for it because the

audi's refuse to call him hearing impaired even though he regularly scores 30-40

dB on his tests, they just feel that it is processing and ignore the test

results. Anyway the one we got was from a therapy catalog. We wanted to try it

but it was $109.19 with shipping ends up being $123 and change. That may not

seem like a lot for some of you but for us we are barely getting by lately. We

finally were able to order it. We decided we had to after they started using an

FM at school but he wouldn't keep the headphones on (it was a crappy system

anyway) so they started using a soundfield while training him to wear the

headphones. The teacher said he payed attention more and was vocilizing more.

That told me right there we had to get it. I can't buy and FM so this is the

next best thing and we have already seen in school how it improves his hearing.
