Hi Manda

Sorry you had a gain, but don't beat yourself up about

it, it happens to the best of us. LOL

Maybe you haven't got your portions quite right yet.

And strange as it may seem, but eating too little can

also make you gain weight. Persevere and you will get

there in the end.

BTW running to the bathroom, does not count!!!! :-)

Hi everyone!

My name is Amber and i am new to this group. I am 20 years old from

Philadelphia, PA. I have been trying to lose weight for a while now, but i

always seem to fall of track. I will do good for a couple weeks, and then go

back to my old ways, which has brought me to the heaviest weight of my life,

230. I was shocked when i stepped on the scale and saw that I had gained so

much. This is my first time joining a weight loss group, and hopefully it

will help me keep myself inline.

I have been trying a couple things to start dropping the pounds...I have

been drinking more water (and leaving behind my beloved mountain dew :( ),

trying to eat healthier (this is one of my major problems due to the fact

that I go to school full time and work 2 jobs. I never have the time to make

myself a descent meal, it is always grab something and go, and those

somethings never seem to be healthy. But that is def something I am working

on!), I ride my bike to wherever I have to go whenever possible, and do a 30

minute low impact aerobics tape as often as possible (so far this has been

about every other day, but i hope to make it more often considering that I

actually enjoy it).

A few things I am considering are going for a 30-45 minute walk with my

boyfriend at least 3 times a week (the problem with this is getting HIM to do

it, and that our schedules arent always compatable) and a friend of mine had

asked me to join a gym with her because she wants to lose weight also, and we

are looking into that (I think that would be GREAT for me, I always like

having someone to do things with. I am not too sure I would go to the gym on

a regualr basis if i signed up alone).

Well, I suppose that is all for right now...I have to get back to my

laundry and my speech for class. Hopefully I can squeeze in the aerobics

tape before work :)
