Guest guest Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 From Paramedic Network News - AUSTRALIA NEWS ** An unidentified ambulance volunteer died Sunday night in Woy Woy, New South Wales while helping to move wild fire evacuees. The Canadian Press (January 1) said the medic succumbed to a heart attack. High temperatures and strong winds are fanning the flames that have hit the area north of Sydney. It is not known how the fires started.** My thoughts and prayers go out to his immediate family and his EMS brothers and sisters, on the loss of this volunteer serving his community. Considering what is going on in Texas and Oklahoma, the world is indeed smaller. " This we do, that others may live " -See you at The Gate, Mate.
