Was interested in dofetilide (Tikosyn) and if my math is correct (and that is always doubtful)...here's what the percentages look like: 28 people responding 7% quit because of QTc 14% quit for other reasons 78% helped (so far includg me) 78% Those are pretty good numbers and there are less side effects than Amiodarone. (My EP only uses Tikosyn now for those that can take it-- she is from Valley Hospital (Ridgewood, NJ) and St. Luke's Roosevelt (NYC). The downside -- you must be hospitalized for 3 days to check QT and creatinine -- but hey, there's always TV to watch and you don't have to cook!!!
