Guest guest
Dear Komal, I'm so sorry for your loss. I think you are on the right track with the HSG as a next step. I believe you should be able to see the inside shape of your uterus from the HSG but if there is some question as to the shape (if they suspect an MA) then I've been told from the ladies on this site that an MRI may be the next step and then depending of course on your results a lap/hyst is the gold standard for diagnosing the difference between a BU or SU. I was diagnosed as BU by transvaginal ultrasound before I got pregnant. I didn't make it to the HSG because of the pregnancy but I will pursue diagnosis when I am able. Good luck in getting to the bottom of things. Be persistant. I think it's great that your OB wants to check for other possibilities. Guest guest
Hi Sylvana, Thanks for the response. I am just trying to guess I guess as to what are the chances that I may have MA. O well ... I just need to be patient. I am getting a cerclage for sure next time around. I have been reading posts on this board for quite some time and seems like when carrying a baby goes, MA is better than IC. Lets see, will know in a few days. Good luck with your pregnancy, by the way why did they do transvaginal US?? During my prgnancy, I had transvaginal at 6 weeks then regular at 18 weeks and then lots more when I was in L & D trying to stop PTL/cervical dialation and no one ever saw anything unusual. Thats why I am suspecious about having any MA. But who knows. Take care, Komal > > Hi Everyone, > > > > Here is a brief history - DH and I got pg. first try early march > this > > year - everything was perfect until at 21 weeks I started feeling > low > > back pain/dull back ache/pelvic pressure.
