With my miscarriage, it was bright red and clotted. This time was different, brown, NO clots. Hope this helps. Marcy Re: Brown Discharge With my first pregnancy, I had the brown spotting for 2 months. In fact that is why I went to the Dr. I thought I was having a funky period. I even had the cramping to go with it. I was sure I had some kind of infection. But it was just a baby! I've always heard that the bright red blood is the one you worry about.
