Hi!

We have our first appt with the epiltoligist to discuss and schedule

the beginging of the diet. My daughter (Sydney) will be 3 in

April. She has had seizures since she was 5 months. No meds seem

to work. I was wondering if there were any questions that you wish

you would have asked on your pre diet visits, that you didn't think

to ask till it was too late. I have a list of qestions and I have

read 2 Dr. Freeman books. But I feel like you guys are a better

insight for me... any suggestions are greatly appreiciated.

Feel free to e-mail me!

Dina,

Welcome! You may ask if your center still does a fast or not.

Also, if they'd recommend limiting the carbs prior to the diet. You

can ask how experienced the dietician is, and how soon you could

expect her to respond to your phone calls. These would be helpful,

but to answer your question--there is really no question I wish I

would've asked; the diet is a wonderful miracle for many and is

worth a try for all! It's a lot of work, but worth every bit of it

and you CAN do it!! Good luck!!

Debbie (mom to Bryce, almost 5, ketokid since 9/03; seizure free

since 9/03)
