Guest guest
. Do bring it to the pediatrician... Always is better safe than sorry... 2 possible reasons I can think of: - Is his urine very concentrated? How is his density? Very dense urines may give false positives. - How do you test? In the diaper or with cotton?... Try to get a clean sample and test again... I mean, in a bag or a container... That should give you an accurate result. Sometimes some diaper brands will give false positives as well... Some detergents as well.. Multisticks are super extra archi sensitive... The do react! Hope it helps Gilda (mom to , 5 months on the diet, med free, still has seizures da*** it!

(2 and a half yrs) If blood traces were to show on the multistix at the same time it would raise more of a warning re kidney stones I think, ----- Original Message ----- > Jake normally has trace protein. > Barb Swoyer, Jake's mom > ----- Original Message ----- > From: txmomwithkids > To: ketogenic > Since diet initiation (2/2/03) has had trace protien in his > urine. Guest guest
Thanks so much for the replies. I thought it had something to do w/ the diet b/c we were normal pre-diet. No other symptoms of problems, gaining weight slowly but steady, doing exceptionally well overall. Probably just make a note about it and it there are other symptoms look into it further. Thanks sooo much! , mom to , 2yo, med free, seizure free, thank God.
