Guest guest Posted June 21, 2004 Report Share Posted June 21, 2004 I have probably missed this information posted on this message board at sometime, but I was wondering if, It is OK to take fish oil, if I take aspirin and Toprol XL and bp meds? I know that fish oil is so good for the heart, but wonder if it is to much thinning with the aspirin. I won't see my cardio for another month, and would like to start with the fish oil sooner. Any comments? > > Mandy of CA Hi Mandy, i take fish oil capsules every day along with aspirin, atenolol and accupril and i am not aware of there being any issue with taking fish oil as well as aspirin,the fish oil as far as i know is not for thinning the blood but for fighting bad cholesterol and i have never heard of any advice against taking it,so i don't think it is something you should be to concerned about. in CA Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
