Guest guest
- HELLO- are you out there somewhere?? Haven't heard from you in a few days which is unusual. Getting a bit worried on this end -how is Langan doing? Perhaps you've just been busy - but do hope that the little med free gal is hanging in there! Hope to hear from you before we leave tomorrow morning. Don't know if I'll have access to a computer and will go crazy not knowing how this med elimination is going for Langan. Coop man is having a yucky day - hopefully it's just the " day 10 " thing. HUGS!
Guest guest
, Sorry! It has been crazy. We are house hunting, my mom has been here and my husband had a birthday yesterday- and of course this med wean- so I haven't been on line much. I have been thinking about you and a lot and hoping all is well. I just saw your other post that he had a myoclonic today. Ugh! If it's day 10 I personally would strongly suspect that is a big part of the problem. Just my hunch but the lack of jerks for this long just makes no sense otherwise. Langan is hanging in there. Her moods are wild- whining one minute, laughing the next. She has actually been screeching her happy screech and then screaming and crying in the same breath. It's crazy. She was doing those looking around wierd things a ton lately and then last night (daddy's birthday, of course) she did it and then suddenly screamed in terror and then started one of her nasty shiver things. It was clearly seizure- her eyes were glossy and her breathing was that seizure breathing- but it wasn't anything like any we have ever seen before. She didn't jerk or anything or get rigid. And it's the first time she's ever seized while completely awake (until this, she is always just waking up or just going to sleep or wakes up during sleep and then has them) so it was a little dis-heartening. But I am hoping it was withdrawal related and not something that we'll have to live with off meds. Only time will tell, I guess.... I've been giving her 1 gm of flax a day and then coconut and sesame for her other oils. She seems to be more stable but I think it's hard on her tummy. I ordered the digestive enzymes from Dr. Houston and we'll try them when they get it. It's nice to be able to try some of this stuff without worrying about it reacting with the meds!! I don't know if we'll be able to stay off meds or for how long, but I am determined to do everything I can to try!! I know you are, too!! Hugs to ! I'll miss you guys next week. Have a great trip and enjoy the beach and tell I said NO MORE SEIZURES!!! > >Reply-To: ketogenic >To: ketogenic >Subject: -Langan where RU? >Date: Thu, 08 Apr 2004 15:38:06 -0000 > _________________________________________________________________ Get rid of annoying pop-up ads with the new MSN Toolbar – FREE! http://toolbar.msn.com/go/onm00200414ave/direct/01/
