Guest guest
Azariel, What does your doc say about the pounding? Maybe they can give you a 24 hour monitor to see what it is, just to put your mind at rest if nothing else. You are still in the 2-3 month after ablation phase, so my understanding is that your heart is still healing, and it isn't unusual to have stuff going on then. Guest guest
Thank you for your thoughts and experience, I'm waiting to speak to my doctor for some peace of mind, > In responding to , if he is concerned about starting Betapace or any med that has the potential for side effects, then he should go to the hospital for his own peace of mind. I for one have gone on Betapace both in and out of the hospital and have never had any side effects, except that my cardiologist was mad that I did that and my EP said that it was OK. Just do whatever you are comfortable with. I don't think that it is ever wrong to be too safe, especially if you are worried.... > Re: Re: post ablation(9th week) > > > writes: > > <<After reading about the recommdation to start in a hospital(my doc did > not)and in general I am pretty frieghtned about starting to take these > meds, could anyone give me some feedback>> > > There are many docs who think starting Betapace outpatient is OK for > many, if not most, patients, depending upon whether or not they have > other heart problems, and how much of a " loading dose " is given to > suddenly raise blood levels to a therapeutic level.
