Guest guest
, We had nursing care for years. Some were my best friends, a few not as close, and a few I asked the agency to not send back. It certainly is a major change in household dynamics, and in the dynamics between you and Alissa. But right now, you have a specific situation you need to address. I presume she works for an agency. She should be charting daily, everything that happens, and everything she does during her shift. More information re: what she said happened, where was she returning from when she found Alissa not breathing. What is her explanation of what happened. What does she think was responsible for the episode. With information, you could call Alissa's charge nurse at the hospital and her PCP and ENT to see if this is a new development for Alissa, and if it makes sense in light of her current medical complications, and what kind of follow-up they recommend For the moment, I believe you need to act on the information as if nothing is amiss, and find out what might be going on with Alissa. And you'll feel better if you are in the house along with the nurse, for now. in Ma.
