I'm assuming you have a temporary ostomy based on your reference to another surgery and will have reconnection once you're healed up. I have a colostomy; the person I know in your circumstance had an ileostomy. UOA covers 'em all plus has an ET nurse monitoring posts. Some folks have more than one ostomy--can you imagine?
