Guest guest
Hello ladies, I just picked up a copy of all my ultrasound reports from when I was pregnant because I am trying to get referred to a specialist (trying to go through another dr than my horrible ob-gyn). Can you help me understand what these things mean? -uterus slightly bulky (10.0 X 7.4 X 5.3 cm) -texture mildly inhomogeneous I can't believe the radiologist's office. They told me numerous times the pregnancy was in my left horn (my husband was there and can attest to this) when the reports all say it was in the right. Also, they told me my uterus was septate when they've written that it's bicornuate. One more thing, if they've written that the rest of the pelvis and urinary bladder did not reveal any abnormalities, does this mean I can consider that I have both my kidneys? Thanks for your help. Also, thanks for all your replies about IVF.

Then, when I had my D & E, the doctor told me it was in my left horn. I never figured out why there was a descrepancy there. I was also dx'd bicornuate and then arcuate with a subseptum and finally septate. I had to push and push to finally be seen by a specialist and my ob/gyn is great! So, I can't imagine how hard it must be for you to deal with a crummy doctor. I think that many doctors just have no clue. I would also say that it's safe to assume that your kidneys are both there and fine. Good luck to you!
