I think it was Amy who asked if someone was paying out of pocket for this. And

it struck me as very funny...the insurance company paying!

I am imagining a superbill with a code for " Dolphin Therapy " and a diagnosis

of CHARGE. Insurances won't pay for Vision Therapy (eye exercises), so I can't

imagine they would go for this. And if they did, there would probably be an

allowable amount of like $1800 and the Dolphin people would have to write the

rest off. Or they would try and " bundle " it with something else and then not

pay (can you guys tell I'm a little bitter towards insurance companies--it's my

experience from the " provider " side, not necessarily the " patient " side!)

If the Dolphin Therapy people are smart, they will stay away from insurance!
