RE: $500 Dietician Fee at Hopkins Upon Arrival????

I didn't go to Hopkins, but in Houston it was all handled by insurance. We

didn't pay a penny upfront.

$500 Dietician Fee at Hopkins Upon Arrival????

Is this new? We were never told this before, until the other day

when we got the call that they expect this money up front, and then

we can send our receipt to Blue Cross later!

This is purely a guess but I wonder if the reason for the 150.00 to be

evaluated and the 500.00 dietician fee is because of the renewed interest in

the diet because of the Dateline story. Maybe they want to be certain that

they only have serious inquiries.
