I believe it is normal procedure in ablation to punch a hole through the

septum with the catheter to enter the left atrium.

www.affacts.org click on Dr. Keanes atricle and then PVI ablation or any of

the other topics. He walks you through an entire PVA. Pre-PVA, The PVA and

post pva.

It's very good. The procedure is routine for the more experienced EP. My

family and friends in the Maritimes go to Toronto or Halifax for their Heart

problems, and if they can't handle it, they go to Boston.

I think there is already a hole, or at least a weak area to punch

thru, from birth.

I think there is already a hole, or at least a weak area to punch

thru, from birth.
