Here's a variation on the decongestants thread. Is anyone aware of

either interactions with zinc and (coumadin, beta blockers,

amiodarone)? How about direct effects with zinc and afib?

I take Cold-EEze all the time when my throat hurts or if IM feeling a cold is

coming on. It contains Zink and I have not had a problem with it.

Bill,

I have been taking Cold Eez all week which is loaded with zinc and I also

take zinc (15 mg.) supplements during cold and flu season (didn't help this

year) and it doesn't bother my afib at all. I asked my cardiologist about

zinc and he said it was OK to take. One word of caution - if you take too

much zinc, it can actually lower your immune system.
