Guest guest
Readers may remember that am a Brit who had a second ablation last November. Since then I have seen my EP cardiologist, Dr JS Gill for two consultations to monitor my progress and have just visited him again for the final time. He reviewed the printouts from my 24 hour Holter test and has finally pronounced the procedure a success. There was no trace of AF, just a variety of non-important ectopics from time to time.I gave up Sotalol a month ago and he has now taken me off warfarin substituting 75mg of aspirin daily. This group has been a great source of both information and re- assurance over the past year. I wish you all the same outcome that I have had and will remain lurking in case I can offer the same help to anyone else. Kindest regards, Bob Osborne
Guest guest
Congratulations to Bob!!!! My son had a successful ablation; from the outside looking in it didn't seem so bad, and he seemed fine with it (although kids are asleep) but I wouldn't be afraid of the option if you are in the right hospital with the right doctor!! That makes a big difference. Find the most successful and experienced!! M.A. in Boston
