Holy . . . . 80 mg extra???????? That's insane! But I understand why - I've read about theflu and cortisol and, like, they've found badly damaged adrenal glands in dead flu patients!I'll be sure to ask here if I get the flu! Doubt I have the flu now. I don't have a fever.I know you can get the flu without fever, but...Ok I'll take 2.5 extra now at 1:10 am! Hope I'll sleep well with that later. Thanks for the support Val, you are truly amazing. So much knowledge, so much goodness! Bless you!Subject: Re: Re: Help - Heart just started beating VERY

By yoiur white blood cells you do not have a horrid infeciton so 2.5mg

estra between each dose shoudl be plenty. If oyu had a FLU it is quite

liekly you could need up to 80mg a day.

But you know... This could mean I am on the right amount of HC.. Maybe I don't haveHypothyroidism afterall.. I mean, I _am_ a mystery to all the doctors I meet! My specialisttells me she doesn't understand why my temps are so stable. They have been prettynormal (around 37.0 C, or 98.6 F) even since _before_ I started taking HC this June.Hmmm, my temps are interesting though. I have done temps, almost daily, at least oncedaily, but mostly 2-3 times daily, since late April this year. I started taking HC on the8th of June this year. My DAILY AVERAGES were fluctuating with 0.2 C (or 0.4 F)before HC. I guess that's a bit too much.BUT there are too many factors in this to say what is causing my temps to differ;* The thermometer type - and how many seconds I measure each time.* Which level of activity and intake of

food/drinks I had before measuring (should be 20 mins of nothing before each measurement, I know)* How long after I take HC/T3 before I measure also affects the temp I guess* My chronically infected tonsils, and other possible infections* Even the mental state, including fear, and thoughs about painThat being said, I have seen more stable temps in the past few months. This might bebecause I've started to measure more or less for 60 seconds every time I measure mytemps. When I first started out measuring, I did like 5 minutes, even 10 minutes ofmeasuring. And saw differences in temps depending on how long I measured. MESS!!!I will pursue getting a new thermometer as soon as the stores open again in a few days.Which would be the very best kind? Hope I can find it.T.Subject: Re: Re: Help - Heart just started beating VERY slowly and IRREGULARLYTo: RT3_T3 Date: Friday, January 1, 2010, 4:35 PM

Your tempos look totally abnormal to me. It is NOT normal to have that

many of the same temps in a week. I really htink you need a better

thermometer.

,

My face gets very swollen when I have a sinus infection. My head and teeth will hurt from the pressure, etc etc... CALL YOUR DOCTOR and get on antibiotics. You won't know what is hypo or adrenal until you get rid of this infection you are fighting. You are doing your body more harm by allowing this infection to keep going on.

--------------------

And my face is even more swollen today. Does that happen because I ate some carbslast night? (I wanted to cekebrate to I ate a piece of gluten-free cake, with sugar though.and some Russian salad with white rice in it!)

Well, I've only had elevated whites for a few weeks. But I've had chronically infected tonsils for 8 years. However, that doesn't show up in theblood. It's just what the specialist with tonsils have told me. He says I should fix them, but it's not deadly if I go on with them infected. He does think I will gain good health fromfixing them though. Thanks! I will anyway go to my GP on the 5th to get his opinion on my raised whites.

One thing about high cortisol - "High cortisol" is not having high serum and urine levels of cortisol while on 20-40 mg HC? Cause then HC alone could raise rT3! :P Just checking.T.

Can carbs raise rT3? And how much carbs can I take daily before something bad happens?I mean.. I ate Russian salad yeseterday and today.. It was made with white rice..I know carbs are not good for me, but I don't know what the limit is, and how to measure!I also ate 1 piece of cake yesterday. Maybe I am paying for that today? :-)

Also, what do one do if you can't fall asleep for hours, and like me, fall asleep at like 7 am..What do to with the first HC dose at 10 am then? I took mine at 1:30 pm today. Should Ihave forced myself awake and taken it at 10 anyway? Would I be able to sleep after that?

I just lost some of my ability to taste. Weird. Does anyone know if this is realted to taking HC,or anything else? Also, can I use some nose spray? I hear hypothyroid people shouldn't use too much of that.

As for my stress-dosing of HC while I have an infection (or at least so I think I have) -I did 2.5 mg extra at 1 am yesterday, or, this night. Should I keep taking 2.5 mg extra HCtil I feel better or what?T.
