Guest guest
So I should lower HC by 2.5 mg first to see what happens or what?I really feel desperate - Feels like a big metal hand is squeezing my brain! It's frightening! I wanna go to the ER but.. doubt they get what's going on with me..Val, is it ok for a person with normal adrenal function to start taking 20-30 mg HC dailyfor 6-7 months? Let's say I don't have AF and take HC... Would it be dangerous? One doctor suggester I don't have AF and that the saliva test was fauly, cause the firsttwo saliva tests showed normal adrenal function!Subject: Re: Re: Help - Heart just started beating VERY slowly and IRREGULARLYTo: RT3_T3 Date: Monday, January 4, 2010, 6:15 PM I would put at least 3 days between raising T3 and lowerin gHC jusyt to ease the stress on your body,. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthet hyroidmadness. com/ http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ NaturalThyroidHo rmonesADRENALS/ http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ RT3_T3/ http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
My old specialist told me to test the following in the blood now:testosteroneshbgestradiolcortisol morningaldosteroneb-12homocysteinecolesterolShould I avoid taking salt before the aldosterone test, and if so, how long before should I stop taking it? Isn't it dangerous to go without salt for 24 hours+ when having this condition?

Guest guest
Won't the stress from having pressure/pain in the head increase my need and mute the point of dosing down from 27.5 mg to 25 mg HC daily?I also feel that I need more T3, definitely. It's a feeling I have. 15 mcg daily is not so much.

Guest guest
Yeah, but can we trust my digital thermometer? And I never measured for the same amount of time everytime I measured my temps back in the spring and early summer. I did like 1 minute. Then 5 minutes. Then 10 minutes. There is a huge difference in temp depending on how long you measure! Now I only do 1 minute. And I pretty much ALWAYS get 37.0 C as a result! (98.6 F) How come? > Can you still have AF with stable temps before you do >HC? Guest guest
I should have known. Haha. Just kidding. Yeah, HC might have something to do with the temps being stable. Buuuut like said earlier, we shouldn't trust a digital thermometer. Now I know there are split opinions on this, but.. I can't see how a mercury (?) thermometer could lie. If they could only have kept the mercury in THERMOMETERS - They had to put it into my mouth and give me hypothyroidism too! >And I pretty much ALWAYS get 37.0 C as a result! (98.6 F) How come? Guest guest
However, Nick, my shouldn't my temps have been lower due to my Hypothyroid-state?I am on 15 mcg T3 daily. NOT a lot. How does this work? Is it juuust enough T3 to notset down my temp or do I still have enough production of T4/T3 myself to keep temps stable?I remember freezing in my teens before I got diagnosed and got T4-med. I can't see how a mercury (?) thermometer could lie. If they could only have kept the mercury in THERMOMETERS - They had to put it into my mouth and give me hypothyroidism too! My personal experience of digital is that they have done the job for me and agreed well with a mercury one. When they have given trouble is when they have been much colder than normal as a starting point and then they made the part of my mouth that they were in cold as they had too much thermal mass to be warmed without taking heat away from me. I found that moving the digital around in my mouth as it warmed up gave me a more plausible and higher number. This made a big difference when the thermometer was in the car overnight.
