At the beginning of the month I sent out an email requesting anyone that wanted to stay a member to EMAIL me at moochie1@... and let me know you want to stay. I have gotten several back. This just happened earlier this summer to a group my husband was in. Luckily the owner of the group had a few email address from people he had corresponded with outside of the group, so he was able to contact them and started a new group. 2) we have almost 2000 members. Some may have passed away and family members didn't know how to delete them, some join and never come back etc. So this is also a way to "clean" house. Sharon to the best of my knowledge everyone no matter the setting would get the email.I know this is how it was when we were still having chats.

I figure anyone that has any interest in the group would check in a months time. Thats why I left it as is for the whole month. I will assume anyone that doesn't respond does not want to stay in the group.

BTW - I have now lost a total of 116 lb. Lost another 3-1/2 lb last week.

Hi and welcome. A few weeks ago I sent out a special notice asking anyone who wanted to stay a member to email me. I just sent out a second request today.

The reason for this is 1) On occasion Yahoo will delete a club. This happened to my husband earlier this summer. So if I have the names of those that want to stay I could just recontact them and start over again. 2) We have almost 2000 of which not more than 50 post on a regular basis. So I want to clean house so to speak. You don't have to post in order to be a member, although it would be nice to at least introduce yourself. But some just like being silent members reading and learning.

I will add you to the list of those wanting to stay.

At the beginning of the month I sent out an email requesting anyone that wanted to stay a member to EMAIL me at moochie1@... and let me know you want to stay. I have gotten several back. Some even from a few of the "oldies" that we haven't heard from in a long time.The reason I am doing this is 1) because Yahoo on occasion will just up and delete a group for no apparent reason. This just happened earlier this summer to a group my husband was in. Luckily the owner of the group had a few email address from people he had corresponded with outside of the group, so he was able to contact them and started a new group. 2) we have almost 2000 members. Some may have passed away and family members didn't know how to delete them, some join and never come back etc. So this is also a way to "clean" house. As stated in my first email, if I do NOT hear back by Oct. 1, 2005 that you want to stay I will be deleting those not interested in the group. If you post or not does NOT make a difference. Some just prefer to read and not post, thats ok, but I wish you would introduce yourself. We are here for everyone.PLEASE respond before Oct. 1st or you will have to rejoin once I go through and delete anyone that hasn't responded.Hugsnne

BTW - I have now lost a total of 116 lb. Lost another 3-1/2 lb last week.

This is too weird. You just did this about a month ago? Do you just not want some of us on the list? I just happened to notice the heading. If you feel that must go through this all the time then make up your own mind about me. Either keep me or delete me, I wont lose sleep either way.
