Guest guest
I give it to my eight-year-old son twice a day. 3/4 tsp in the AM, 3/4 in the PM. I've also worked ground flax seed into his recipes, and give him aloe vera, which helps as well. After years of battling with this problem, we finally, finally have it under control. Amaziing. Jane Magnesium Citrate I have finally managed to get hold of the Kirkman magnesium citrate powder which I am praying will be our answer to Francesca's constipation nightmare. Should I give it once or twice a day? Does it make any difference. Should I give her half a heaped teaspoon total or give half a spoon twice a day? She's nearly 7 years old, 28.2kg and is on 1450 calories a day (if that's relevant). By the way, if there's anyone else in the UK who wants to try it, there is ONE supplier, the Nutri Centre in London, www.nutricentre.com, telephone 020 7436 5122. They have just got more stock in this week and they post it first class - I ordered it yesterday and it arrived today! Cost is £16.00 plus 1.75 post, but it's a huge pot which I'm sure must last for ages. Thanks in anticipation for your responses. , Mum to Francesca " The Ketogenic Diet....a realistic treatment option, NOT just a last resort! " List is for parent to parent support only. Guest guest
I give Asha 19yrs, 43kg, 1/4 tsp of magnesium oxide once a day at breakfast. I am not sure what the difference is between citrate and oxide. I would start with that dose and go up a bit until you reach what is right for her.
