I thought some compounding pharmacies could make just about

anything....wouldn't guarantee the taste though! But I thought someone

once got a special formula of tegretol made when they got to the lower

amounts to wean

Hi

Sorry, I am a bit slow off the mark here. . . a few issues to deal with

ourselves:(

I've located the info on Lamictal chewables:

Lamictal 5mg

sodium starch glycolate 3mg

saccharin sodium 1mg

blackcurrant flavor up to 1mg

magnesium stearate 1mg

Lamictal 25mg

sodium starch glycolate 2.5mg

saccharin sodium 0.625mg

blackcurrant flavour up to 0.625mg

magnesium stearate 0.625mg

The magnesium stearate is fat content I believe.

So as far as reducing down from the 25mg dose, you are far better (although

it gets soooooo fiddley) to cut up the 25mg tablets.

Hope this helps

Jill
