Guest guest
Ok I'll just start taking 2 Iron pills instead of 1 every evening. Btw: What's that talk about for every mg iron you add, you increase the chance of getting a blood clot in the heart? rT3: My FT3 from March is 5.7 and the rT3 is 0.55, this brings down to a ratio of about 10! Why did I have that ratio back in March (prior to starting with HC) while I was on 75/50 mcg T4 every other day only? I wonder why my rT3 was so high back then. > > >My reshest Ferritin status is at 45. Guest guest
I was thinking about taking my secone 1/2 grain ERFA Thyroid now at about 6 pm. I took my first dose at 1 pm. And I took my 50 mcg's of Synthetic T4 at 3 pm. Does it really matter when you take what? For years, I always took my T4/T3 combo when I woke up, whenever that was, and the secon dose 12+ hours later, before I went to bed, whenever that was. Maybe I should wait til like 8 pm with my second dose of 1/2 grain ERFA Thyroid and take my Iron at midnight before bedtime?

I can't take natural after 2pm for an 11pm bed time. I can take T3 through the day and at bed time. T4 you can take pretty well any time. Guest guest
I hope it's not too late - I am very afraid if fluid retention and CHF. My belly has grown very large over the past 1 1/2 years since T3 was removed from me. Maybe even HC has made my gain weight. Oh well. I took 1 grain total today + those 50 mcg Synthetic T4. Like my specialist told me to do. Friday is the day when I get my new rT3 result in. We'll see what that looks like. What if rT3 doesn't mean anything in my body - And all I needed was HC and a proper dose of dessicated thyroid? Who knows, right? > > >I was thinking about taking my secone 1/2 grain ERFA Thyroid now at about 6 pm. I took my first dose at 1 pm. > > Go for it. Guest guest
Yeah I have this feeling to... We'll see.. I am curious about the rT3 result though. I will keep doing rT3 tests, once every week, in the coming time! One question about temperatures though: Throughout the day, they've always been " perfect " , at 98.5/98.6 (36.9/37.0 C) but somehow now, after increasing my dose of dessicated with 1/2 grain, my temp is 99.0 - Is this normal when you start taking dessicated? Maybe 99.0 is my REAL optimal temperature? > > >What if rT3 doesn't mean anything in my body - And all I needed was HC and a proper dose of dessicated thyroid? Guest guest
This morning I woke up, naturally, earlier than normal. At 10:30. I did fall asleep earlier than normal too, at about 3 am. I did wake up several times around 7 am. I have no idea why this happens. Did I take my ERF Thyroid too late in the day? The second dose was taken at 6:30 pm. As for last night after increasing my ERFA Thyroid dose with 1/2 grain, I might have had a bit more energy. I took a short 10 minute walk (which I normally don't do) outside in -17.6 (-8 C), and tried to go to bed at 11 am, which was a joke. 12:30 am, I had to get up because I just wasn't sleepy, and get something to eat. Cause I can't fall asleep if I'm hungry. Went back to bed at 2:30 am, and fell asleep at around 3 am or something like that. I have no idea where this is going, but I'll try it for a few more days. Guest guest
Yeah, we're not made to wake up after noon. It's time to grow up, huh. I am 31. But living a life with Hypothyroidism doesn't exactly promote growth in all areas like it should be either, so.. Thanks buddy! Appreciate it! PS! What do you think about my bad tonsils? They can play an important part in my overall health, don't you think? I need to get them removed - But I, and as well as my specialist, feel that I should get better from Hypo before I remove them! To get stronger, so to say. > > > > >I have no idea where this is going, but I'll try it for a few more days. > > Give it a try, waking earlier is good. I know that tonsil removal has been blamed for triggering thyroid issues. I also know that when people get thyroid and adrenal support right that they become less susceptible to infections etc so they may heal as a result of sorting the rest of it. I would leave out your synthetic T4 today, I am wondering if you are having some reaction to it (or it's fillers) . Nick

Guest guest
Thanks, I hope so too... It's what I dream of every single day! I must have had a throat infection abuot 8 years ago, that's when my tonsils got these cavities in them, and I started removing those white lumps from them (the bad smelling ones) - A specialist told me I need to " remove " (fix with lazer) my tonsils. Cause they looks very bad, he says. He also said that 90% of all people who remove their bad tonsils feel 100% healthy again after this. Some even have Hypo symptoms which go away after they fix their tonsils. My tonsils can't heal, they are messed up for life. I better fix them ASAP. Oh yeah, I had an infection in my tonsils last year, got the flu, and almost died from this! I had the highest possible fever before you die. It was SOOO scary! I was sure this is it. This happened right after an idiot doctor removed my T3-med. I have taken Synthetic T4 every single day sinec May 1997. But I've never been on such a low dose as I am today: 50 mcg. It's a new record since 1997! Let's hope this works...!!! Got my FT3 today! No rT3. It's due for release tomorrow. Anyway, my FT3 was 6.4, which is an increase from November 9th when I did my last bloodwork; 5.9. So, if rT3 has gone down, things are looking better. If rT3 has gone up, well, then it doesn't matter if FT3 is going up as well. I look forward to do the ratio. > > >Yeah, we're not made to wake up after noon. It's time to grow up, huh. I am 31.
