Guest guest
I am 56, otherwise healthy, bouts of afib for 20 years. Modified my eating, drinking, excersise, took all measure of vitamins and medicines. Condition grew continually more frequent until in chronic afib last June. (actually a relief!, handicap dropped 2 strokes)The Catholic blames himself for the afib, cold drinks, overheating, too much anger, excersise, pizza, beer, red wine,,,the list goes on. My guess now is that afibbers have some electricly charged cells in the wrong area of your heart and they are firing and causing the afib. After study, I made an appointment with Dr. A. Natale at Cleveland Clinic and went last Monday. I am in SR today for the first time in a year and am extremely hopeful, not to mention, happy and positive about the quality of my life going forward. I don't know what the eventual outlook is going to be but I suggest that everyone clearly examine this option and forget the handwringing and vodoo medicine that is being practiced alot around this issue. Dr Natale is a real gentleman, his staff is efficient (and beautiful)the clinic is very impressive and boom you are on you way home the next day.
