Guest guest Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 , Welcome to the group! I am also UD. I found out in college, and it wasn't as big a deal then as it is to me now that DH (husband) and I are ttc (trying to conceive). I think that it's a good thing to be checked out by your new dr. I have 2 uteri that are the same size, but we use one side exclusively too. (I've been pg in the left one both times)In my opinion, I wouldn't do anything about removing your " smaller " uteri unless it poses a serious health risk. I just don't think it's worth it. But that could just be me. (My dr actually told me that I could try on the other side, but I choose not to...ouch!) Try not to stress about the UD too much. Although I've had 2 m/c, both have been chromosomal related, not a problem w/ my UD. I actually feel a bit better having been pg, b/c at least I know that's not the problem. If you need a little inspiration, check the photos section. Sometimes I look there when I need a little cheering up. Let us know how the tests go! Good luck ttc! Hope that helps, C.
