This is the first time I have ever experienced anything like this. Thanks for any input or > suggestions. It definately sounds like a blocked gland. I had RAI in July and started experiencing the same thing about a month ago. My family doc told me to use heat, drink enough to stay well hydrated and keep the saliva thinned, eat sour candies, and massage the gland to stimulate flow. I have done all these things and the symptoms are much better though both sides still back up a few times a week. It has now become a minor annoyance and is not nearly as painful anymore- I just look like half a chimpmunk! ~Kim in NJ TT 1/8/02 papillary ca 3.9 cm RAI 7/2/02 125 mCi 132 mcg Levoxyl
