Hi Fran, though not as specific as your comment I was thinking on the same lines. I imagine it's a relatively straight forward (though not pleasant!) test to measure the calorific content of what is excreted? Do you think you are absorbing most of your 4000 calories or do you think a substantial amount is still getting through?
