Guest guest
Hi Leita I don't know about folic acid and the diet, but I do remember reading that although people with epilepsy can be low it, it can be difficult to supplement because it can cause seizures in some. Guest guest
Leita, Do you know the carb content of what you are giving Asha and are you calculating that into her diet? It doesn't take much extra carb to throw ketones out the window, especially at a low ratio. That would be my first hunch about the sudden drop in ketones after starting the supplement. Supplements are soooo tricky because truly, most contain carbs. as " fillers " . Sometimes they are recognizable, but sometimes they are well " hidden " .
